Updating Prize Details for your Carat Event

Carat gives you a robust set of tools to incentivize different uses of Carat during your events and promotions. From the Destination Dashboard, you can customize different prize levels, redemption offers and more.

For access, visit Rewards from your menu on the left.

To access this page, click Rewards from the menu options. From here, you will see Info for Earning Carats, Prize Levels and a list of Prize Listings (Redemptions) available within your Carat Event.

Reward Options

This page primarily affects how you will reward users for Checking In at locations within your Carat Event, as well as some instructions to make it easier for users to earn Carats:

• Explore Description

  • Explore, Earn & Prize Details can be found on the Info section of the app. These should be tailored to create a clear path for your users to earn prizes at your event.

  • For Explore, consider this: how will users find Carats throughout your event? What type of places do you have listed within the Explore tab of your Carat Event?

• Earning Carats

  • For Earning Carats, consider the places that you will reward Carats for checking in. Is there a set amount per location? Do they vary depending on the type of place? Try to keep this simple and concise, clearly answering how your users will earn Carats.

• Prize Details

  • This description can be found on the Prize page below the prize levels. Consider adding dates for prize drawings, a location to pick up prizes, etc. to clearly communicate how users will convert their Carats into tangible benefits.

• Bronze Prizes

  • Bronze & Silver Prizes can be toggled on or off depending on your preference. By toggling this on, you can set the number of Carats to reach the Bronze prize threshold, as well as a brief description of what you are offering for those Carats.

• Silver Prizes

  • Silver Prizes can be toggled on or off depending on your preference. By toggling this on, you can set the number of Carats to reach the Silver prize threshold, as well as a brief description of what you are offering for those Carats.

• Gold Prizes

  • Set the number of Carats to reach the Gold prize threshold, as well as a brief description of what you are offering for those Carats.

• Reedemable Prizes

  • Prize listings are a way to offer instant rewards to your users in lieu of a prize drawing. Similarly to the Destination Directory, these listings can be customized to include titles, descriptions and images to build out a prize shop within your Carat Event.
